Addison Corrie LaBlue (a LOT late)

Well...it's been awhile. HAHA!!! Addison did arrive on November 14th at 4:03 am. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long. Addison is an absolute doll!!! She is the happiest baby and loves to sleep. YAY!!!! Her favorite thing to do is swing. I think she would stay there forever if I let her. :-) She also enjoys her play mat and bouncy. At her two month check-up she was up to 12 pounds exactly. She sure is a growing girl!!!

We had our first scare with Addison this week. She has been sick with a cold/bad cough and on Thursday our doctor wanted to have her tested for RSV. Praise the Lord that her test came back negative. We're on some meds right now that seem to be helping her out a bunch. She had been really fussy/miserable, but she's getting back to her happy self now. It broke my heart to see her so sick and not know how to fix it. :-(

Gracie and Emily are doing SO well with Addison. It just melts my heart when I see how sweet and nurturing they are towards her. Emily even lets Addison use her "flower blankie." If you know about the flower blankie, you know how HUGE this is!!!!

I will be glad when it is Spring. I am so reluctant to take Addison many places right now...there is SO much sickness going around. Addison still has a few friends she hasn't met yet. We are definitely going to work on fixing that during Spring Break.

Life with three little girls is CRAZY BUSY, but I sure wouldn't change it for the world.

And, I promise that I am really going to try to post more. We've got a lot going in our family right now....including a new position for me with our district next year!

It's a GIRL!!!

We had our big ultrasound on Monday, and it looks like we're having another sweet baby GIRL. We are SO excited!!! I have to say the suspense of not finding out during the ultrasound about KILLED me!!! I found out 2 1/2 hours after the ultrasound. I know that's not very long, but it felt like an eternity!!!

After the ultrasound we met my parents, Gracie and Emily (of course), Papa Bryan and Aunt Bill for lunch at Abuelos. I've been craving mexican food like I did with the girls!!! We had such a fun lunch. Mom's only request was that no one order anything that took long to cook. LOL!!! We finished up lunch, and Kris and I headed to Sweet Memories to pick up the 2 cakes. (One was pink with white icing. The other was blue with white icing.) We gave them the card that the ultrasound tech filled out and they placed it on the correct cake. The drive back to mom's house seemed like it took hours!

Mom had everything set up when we arrived at her house, and we cut the cake right away!!! We were so excited to see the pink. So much fun!!!! (In a tormenting kind of way!)

We will be naming this sweet little girl ADDISON CORRIE. Addison- because we like it. Corrie- after my grandmother (Addison's due date also falls on her birthday.) I'm not sure if we'll call her Addie or just Addison. Time will tell!

Happy 7th Birthday Gracie!

I can't believe my sweet baby girl is 7 years old now!!! Gracie received a new laptop for her birthday this year, so we decided to have a "family day" instead of a big party. We began our day at Chuck E. Cheese (or Chuckle Cheese as Emily calls it!) Afterwards we headed to the mall so Gracie could spend her gift card she received from Nana and Papa. We ended the day at the movies watching Toy Story 3. We all LOVED the movie!!! It was such a fun day, and Gracie said it was the best birthday ever. YAY!!!

Grandma and Grandpa came Saturday afternoon to pick the girls up for a little birthday shopping and dinner for Gracie's birthday. Gracie got a new bike with a kickstand AND a basket. AWESOME! She also got an i-Carly video camera. And, of course, Emily got a little something too!!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for all you do!!!!
On Sunday Gracie and I sat down at the computer so she could spend her Toys R Us gift card from Uncle Kevin, Aunt Laura, Beth and Jacob. I offered to take her to the store, but she REALLY wanted to shop online. Don't know who she learned that from?? HA! She ended up getting free shipping. W00-Hoo!!! She picked out a new Nintendo DS game, a wig, a craft kit and two packages of glitter pens!!!! Thanks guys!!!! You made her day! :-)

Grimes County Fair

This morning we loaded up and headed to the Grimes County Fair. We had some VERY sweet friends (Jennifer and Brandi) who asked Gracie and Emily if they wanted to help show their animals. Of course the girls wanted to. These girls LOVE animals. They were supposed to show pigs, lambs and goats. But, due to the HORRIBLE weather, they only showed pigs. They didn't seem to mind--though Emily REALLY wanted to show a lamb!!! (The pics aren't great. I used my "purse" camera.)

The girls were all decked out in their cowgirl gear. Emily was so excited to wear her "cow" boots.

Emily with her piggy trophy. She was so proud.

This pic is SOOO blurry, but it's the only decent one I got when Emily was showing. That girl was ALL OVER the arena!!! Poor piggy---Emily was not shy with the "whoopin' stick!!!!!"

Gracie did very well. Very CALM with the pig. She laughed because the pig got pee on her. HA!!! Brandi is in the black shirt. She was SOOO sweet to help the girls like she did.

We had SO much fun watching them!!

Watch Oprah lately???

I rarely watch Oprah, but I watched it yesterday. It was about a lady, Charla, who got attacked by a chimpanzee. The chimp belonged to her friend. Charla was BRUTALLY attacked...she no longer has a face and only one thumb remains. SO sad. I will never complain about myself. I will be thankful for my eyesight (even though I have to wear contacts), the little freckle on the end of my nose (that drives me NUTS), and my mouth that works so I can eat food (not suck everything through a straw). What an amazing spirit Charla has.

Here's a link to the story.

How blessed are we!

I've been going through Thanksgiving/Christmas pics tonight. This is a picture from our Thanksgiving at Aunt Marzie's house. These kiddos just melt my heart. I love how innocent Emily and Jacob look in the picture. HA!!!!

My sweet little dumplins. :-)
